Wow so many amazing fundraising and charity events going on this week and this month...if you missed out this morning here they are and a few more.
May 1 from 12p.m. to 1:30p.m. there was the Do the Happy at Nathan Phillips Square for SickKids for Healthy and Happy Month in the City of Toronto. The Healthy and Happy campaign is focused on raising awareness of current child health issues in Canada and SickKids is asking people in TO and beyond to help make this possible by participating, donating and sharing.
May 2 is McHappy Day, a day dedicated to raising money for local children's charities, such as Ronald McDonald House, in every McDonald's restaurant across the country. On May 2, $1 from every Big Mac sandwich, Happy Meal or hot McCafe bbeverage sold (including brewed coffee and tea) will benefit Canadian kids in need. Please visit a McDonald's restaurant on Wednesday May 2nd and help McD's help kids!
Also on a side note Canadians can also show their support of children in need and their families by texting MCHAPPY to 30333 to make a $5 donation to the Ronald McDonald House of Canada. A one time donation of $5 will be added to your mobile phone bill. 100% of the collected donations will go to RMHC Canada.
