Feb. 9th is National Sweater Day! WWF and Joe Fresh are calling on Canadians to turn down their thermostats a few degrees and don a crazy sweater to show their commitment in support for energy conservation. http://sweaterday.ca/

Feb. 8 from 7-9p.m. Learning For Hope, Zumba dance party! At St. Mary's Catholic Secondary School, 1918 Whites Rd, Pickering, to raise money for school supplies and help with educating children in Peru. http://www.learningforhope.com/  Dance with the amazing instructors from the Harmony Centre at the Learning For Hope Zumba Dance party! tickets are $20 at the door!

Feb. 12 is the 4th annual Sweethearts for SickKids- Luke's Legacy Fundraiser. For $5 get a heart shaped sugar cookie to decorate with icing and candies. The fundraiser will be held at Whole Foods in Oakville at 301 Cornwall Road. From 11-4p.m. All proceeds support the Cardiac Critical Care Unit at SickKids. www.lukeslegacy.ca

Until Feb. 14th It's Global Pet Foods 7th annual Show Us Your Heart Fundraiser to help homeless pets. Global Pet Foods and Hill's Science Diet will match the 1st dollar of every donation. Money raised will go to the local animal shelter!
