It feels great to be back in the saddle here at CP24!!
Thank you to all of you who called and e-mailed me your well wishes while I was away in Whistler covering the 2010 Winter Olympics.
As you can imagine, I had the most wonderful time out west covering the Games. We were told that the experience was going to change our lives forever, but I never really understood what that would be like until now. From meeting our medal winners and Canadian heroes, to being surrounded by the awe-inspiring and breathtaking Rocky Mountains to experiencing Whistler Village in all its glory, it was life-changing indeed. I experienced, as many of you did, Canada's "true patriot love". It was so moving to be around so many proud Canadians. In the sea of red and white, all you could see were smiles and joy. Amazing.
Here are pics of some my favourite moments in Whistler. Enjoy!

INTERVIEWING SILVER MEDALLISTS HELEN UPPERTON AND PICKERING'S SHELLEY-ANN BROWN. (They received their "real" silver medals the next night at the medals ceremony!)
